ATCS achieves our clients’ needs while protecting the natural, cultural and human environment and ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws, regulations and policies.

ATCS provides comprehensive Environmental Services and sustainable solutions to challenging environmental project considerations, with a focus on allowing communities to thrive and integrate a blend of infrastructure solutions while respecting the natural environment. Our clients include federal, state and local governments, departments of transportation across all modes, as well as private development organizations.  We assemble the right team for each project in order to evaluate the effects of infrastructure and development efforts on the human, natural and cultural environments, ensuring regulatory and permit compliance from concept to delivery.

We understand that each project is unique and the regulatory requirements for each may vary.  Identifying the required environmental processes and commitments early on is key to delivering a successful project on time and within budget. Our environmental specialists are adept at finding the right solution for our clients.  While a federal action requires National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation, Section 106 consultation and a host of environmental studies and approvals, requirements for a state funded action may only be limited to assessment of Waters of the U.S., compliance with the Endangered Species Act and due diligence of proposed right of way.

We are committed to being good stewards of the environment, while balancing the needs of our clients to ensure the proper studies and analyses are conducted accordingly.
